There are over 2.5 million CCTV cameras in the UK. CCTV operatives usually work in control rooms to monitor images and report crime. The CCTV training course is a great way to start your career or the perfect supplement for Door supervisors looking to bump up their CV and their career to the next level.
A great course to start your career in the security industry. Usual roles include static guarding, manned guarding and key holding. We strongly recommend the SIA Door supervisor training over Security guarding as Door supervisors can work on licensed premises and also cover all Security guarding roles.
1. Get Training
Before you book onto a course, read about the courses and see what roles you would like to work in. There are 4 SIA training courses to choose from and each course enables you to work in particular job roles. The most popular SIA training course is the SIA Door supervisor course.
2. Get Certified
The next step is to complete your chosen course in one of our 40+ locations with one of our approved training providers. All SIA courses require attendance in person and you must pass the course before applying for your licence.
3. Get Licensed
This is the last step in getting your licence and starting your new career. Once you receive notification of passing the course, simply complete an application on the SIA website and your licence should be posted to you after 2-4 weeks.
